Any changes to the schedule (usually due to weather and/or staffing issues, etc.) will be listed here:

Please Note: Gold Leaf’s landscaping team has encountered multiple homes with pet waste in the backyards or common grounds. This is not only unsightly for the community as a whole, but also hazardous for the crews to be stepping in and working around. Please make every attempt to clean-up prior to your scheduled days. Otherwise it is feasible that they might not be able to mow in your area.

In the summertime Gold Leaf typically does not mow weekly (this doesn't mean we are not on site doing other things like pruning/weeding/etc.). In hotter months we must limit mowing services to not take place weekly to eliminate mechanical damages from the mowers due to the grass not growing as fast and being dry. Typically the service pattern usually remains the same every year- weekly visits in the spring/fall, biweekly approximately in the summer, and 1 or 2 in November depending on how warm it stays that month. This is a generalization and we move the schedule based on weather. We appreciate your patience as we follow weather patterns for scheduling services.

ALSO, our mowers are "mulch" mowing - which means they finely chop the debris and spread it back in the yard to reincorporate nutrients - it is the healthiest option for turf. We do not bag or remove grass/nutrients.

Right now, we are on 4 days a week, but with longer summer days to come this is expected to move to 3 days a week. 4 days is best because if one day rains, the schedule is pushed, and services will continue through Friday.

This schedule is also important to note because Gold Leaf has been having issues this year (and some of last) with homeowners not picking up their yard of toys, furniture, pet droppings, etc. We do not expect people to have clean yards every day and that’s why the mowing schedule is crucial for us as well. Our machines are not designed to run over feces continuously, so in these cases, yards will be skipped. We also must skip homes if they have too much furniture/toys that our machines cannot maneuver around. For liability reasons, we do not move anything of the sort in the lawn (this also includes drainpipes and waterspouts), so we typically go around those objects. Please make sure you are aware of this concern as we move forward with the season. If your home was skipped, it was likely these above mentioned items were the cause.

Gold Leaf will work with homeowners directly when a crew causes damage to their lawn, or there is a project happening on their property. Any concerns or questions outside of that should be addressed to Management @ manager@pgchoa.org.

If you see the Gold Leaf teams on your property, you are welcome to speak with them, but please do not give them instructions; they are only allowed to follow directives from their Gold Leaf crew chief or Supervisor.

Homeowners that wish to opt out of any Gold Leaf landscaping service must notify Management at info@pgchoa.org, immediately.

Please do NOT assume if you opted out last year that you are on the opt-out list. You must opt out each year. Gold Leaf would hate for a new Homeowner to potentially think they purposely skipped servicing a house, because the Homeowner that moved out was on the opt-out list last year! Those who opted out last year MUST opt out again this year to confirm they are still the Homeowner of record, and to verify that Gold Leaf has the correct address. Later in the growing season, those Homeowners that opted out of mowing, weeding, chemical treatments, etc., will have to opt out again.
